Vibe coding is using descriptive words to instruct AI on what you want it to build with code. With Cursor, I created a portfolio website to test how quickly I could build a personal site using AI. My process began with establishing some rules or restrictions. I made sure that AI understood the theme of “dreamy and cozy” and that it had a specific color palette to use with the images I provided. From there, I outlined the essential portfolio features and unique UX/UI elements I wanted to included. Cursor accelerated my design process by doing the coding which allowed me to create a website without having to know coding. It sped up my process and allowed me to focus on the design aspect by creating the buttons, layout, contact forms, and animations. Cursor slowed down my design process because it was challenging to get the design to look how I wanted it to look. I also struggled with non functional buttons, bugs, broken images, and the usage limit.

With my situation, I had a usage limit. If I had more time I would add more interactive animations like clouds popping up when clicked on the screen. I would also make the background more visually appealing,ensure that the social media accounts were properly linked, and add more custom elements like a logo.
